We offer endoscopy services covered by the Quebec public health insurance program.

When a procedure is covered in the public sector, it is also covered at OPMEDIC. However, patients will need to cover certain costs related to the endoscopy procedure such as medication and anesthetic agents. The patient doesn't pay for the doctor's fees.

When a procedure is not covered by the Québec Health Insurance Plan, it is not covered at OPMEDIC either. In such a case, the patient will pay all the costs related to the endoscopy procedure and the medical fees.

During the patient evaluation consult, the physician will give the patient detailed information relative to the endoscopy fees. The possibility of undergoing the procedure in a public sector facility will also be discussed. Just as in all patient follow-up consults, this visit is covered by the Québec Health Insurance Plan.

The payment transaction will be handled discreetly by one of our receptionists at her desk at the time of the patient's endoscopy. We accept cash, certified checks, debit cards or credit cards (Mastercard and Visa)
